Ludhiana: DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, organised maths fest 'Math O Mania' wherein around 500 students of classes I to XII participated, including models, activities and games. Even the decorations and patterns of Rangoli were theme based. The school also inaugurated its financial literacy and entrepreneurship club to inculcate the habit of judicious investment and saving among the students.
I-Day celebrations held
Independence Day was celebrated at Steady Steps International Preschool with the spirit of patriotism. The school was decorated with Tricolour balloons, flags, kits and national symbols. Students were dressed up in traditional attire and performed on patriotic songs.

Doraha: Government Senior Secondary School, Bhaini Sahib, celebrated Independence day. Students of various classes sang patriotic songs and recited poems.Pardeep Saini, Ashok Kumar, Pal Rani, Bajinder Singh delivered lecturers on the occasion. Laddoos were also distributed among students.

Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School, Doraha, celebrated Independence Day. The celebration began on the school premises. Mehakpreet Kaur, a student of Class XII, spoke about the significance of the day.
