Ludhiana, July 12
The Municipal Corporation took action against three illegal colonies and five illegal constructions and encroachments in different parts under the MC’s Zone B.
Kuljeet Singh Mangat, Assistant Town Planner (ATP), said they had demolished the structures and sewage system at illegal colonies adjoining the MC’s main garbage dump near Kakka village.
He said the colonies were constructed by violating the norms. He said action was taken against three encroachments and two illegal constructions at Sundar Nagar, near Satsang Bhawan and other areas under Zone B.
