MC chief inspects multi-storey parking lot

Riding pillion on a two-wheeler, Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal conducted surprise inspections to check the condition of multi-storey parking lot near Zone A office of the civic body and sanitation in old city areas on Wednesday.

He said the MC would take up repair works at multi-storey parking lot for facilitating the public at large.

While conducting inspections in different old city areas, Dachalwal issued directions to ensure cleanliness. Further the staff concerned was also directed to check the attendance of sweepers on a regular basis.

The MC chief said the multi-storey parking lot near Zone A office was a major parking lot in old city areas and a large number of residents visit the place on a daily baais. An estimate of around Rs 1.50 crore had been made for taking up repair works of the lot.
