Ludhiana, May 12

Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu and Ludhiana Member of Parliament (MP) Ravneet Singh Bittu on Wednesday visited the newly set up 50-bed Covid care centre at the Jawaddi Community Health Centre to take stock of arrangements.

The duo said the district administration and officials were working tirelessly to augment health infrastructure to deal with the spike in Covid cases.

They said 50 oxygenated beds had been set up here and this had been functioning as a level-II Covid treatment centre. — TNS
