Missing Delhi youth found

Ludhiana: A Delhi-based youth, Rajinder Kumar, who had come to meet his cousin in Guru Nanak Nagar here, went missing under mysterious conditions on June 10. He had left for Delhi but didn't reach there. A complaint was lodged with the Delhon police. During investigation, the police came to know that Rajinder was seen in Kapurthala. A police team was rushed to Kapurthala and they safely recovered the youth. He was suffering from depression due to which he could not reach his home in Delhi. TNS

24-yr-old Girl goes missing

Ludhiana: A 24-year-old girl went missing under mysterious conditions from New Kartar Nagar. Neelam Rani told the police that her daughter had gone to a garments shop on July 21 but didn't return home. The victim’s mother suspected that her daughter might have been kept in wrongful confinement. The police have registered a case in this regard. TNS

Man Booked in dowry case

Ludhiana: Women cell of the police has booked a Hyderabad-based man on the charge of dowry harassment. The suspect has been identified as Harpreet Singh. The complainant, Jagjit Kaur of New Shimlapuri told the police that she got married to Harpreet in 2013. Soon after the marriage, he started torturing her over dowry. TNS
