LUDHIANA: A two-day national convention being organised by the Mulnivasi Sangh Bharat kicked off at Dr Ambedkar Bhawan here today. The participants were made aware about their fundamental rights.

Ludhiana, December 6

A two-day national convention being organised by the Mulnivasi Sangh Bharat kicked off at Dr Ambedkar Bhawan here today. The participants were made aware about their fundamental rights.

Daya Ram, president of the national body, inaugurated the event. A march was taken out from Jagraon Bridge to Dr Ambedkar Chowk. Members of the sangh paid tributes at the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar.

While addressing the gathering, People’s Party of India (Democratic) president BD Borkar said the community members understood that the successive governments had ignored their issues in past 72 years. Vice-president of PPI (D) KS Chauhan and secretary Hemraj Singh Patel shed light on the ideology of Dr BR Ambdekar.
