Mundian lays stones for 12 road projects

With a combined investment of Rs 278.4 lakh, these projects will improve connectivity, facilitate smoother transportation, and drive economic growth in underserved areas.
The projects include the Heeran-Kanech Road to Panglian via Shamshanghat (1.400 km) Panglian to LC Road (0.682 km), LC Road to Katani Kalan to Canal Bridge (0.650 km), Phirni of village Katani Kalan (0.900 km and 1.250 km), Phirni Shri Bhaini Sahib (0.330 km), Bhaini Sahib to Laton Dana (2.310 km), Bhaini Sahib to Kot Gangu Rai (2.230 km), Gadhowal to Jharwali (1.050 km), Link Road Chak Sarvan Nath to Bhani Sahib (2.100 km), Phirni of village Kot Gangu Rai (0.780 km), and Bhairomunna to Kohara-Sahnewal Road (1.920 km).
Foundation stones for four model playgrounds and one Health and Wellness Centre worth Rs 139.15 lakh were also laid.The projects include a model playground at Mundian Khurd costing Rs 14.34 lakh, one at Ballieawal costing Rs 36.18 lakh, one at Jiunewal costing Rs 28.39 lakh, a Health and Wellness Centre (Dispensary) costing Rs 34 lakh, and a model playground at Kalas Kalan costing Rs 26.24 lakh.
