Neurology Update held at DMCH

LUDHIANA: Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) organised “Neurology Update 2019” under the aegis of the Punjab Medical Council and Ludhiana Chapter of Association of Physicians of India.

Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) organised “Neurology Update 2019” under the aegis of the Punjab Medical Council and Ludhiana Chapter of Association of Physicians of India. The topic was “Changing Trends: Neurophobia to neurophilia.”

The event was inaugurated by Dr Sudesh Parbhakar, former HoD, Department of Neurology, PGIMER , Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, Vice-Principal and chief cardiologist Dr GS Wander.

Chief organiser Dr Gagandeep Singh, HoD, Department of Neurology said neurology department of the DMCH has been providing state-of-the art facilities to patients suffering from neurology disorder and aliments.

“The main purpose to conducting this event is to enhance the knowledge and share expertise of the speaker with participating delegates,” he said.

During the event, topics related to headache, acute stroke and epilepsy management were discussed. The event included lectures, panel discussion and case-based discussion to make it more interactive. The event was attended by more than 150 delegates.
