Neurosurgeon honoured at DMCH
The DMCH honoured Dr Malla Bhaskar Rao, a renowned neurosurgeon, for his contributions in the field of advanced epilepsy surgery. Dr Rao is known for his exceptional expertise in treating complex cases of epilepsy. His visit to the DMCH provided an opportunity for his fellow doctors to get deeper insights into the advanced surgical techniques and best practices in epilepsy surgery that he uses.
Dr Rao is a pioneer of epilepsy surgery in India, and he helped in starting the epilepsy surgery programme at DMCH. In the past 20 years. DMCH has successfully performed more than 90 surgeries on patients with epilepsy under the leadership of Dr Gagandeep Singh and Dr Ashwani K Chaudhary.
