District Immunisation Officer Dr Harpreet Singh on Thursday inspected “Mamta Diwas” activities at Ayali Khurd village, officials said. Dr Singh reviewed the staff’s performance and assessed arrangements for maternal and child healthcare.
He examined services such as immunisation, check-ups of pregnant women and lactating mothers, nutritional counseling and record maintenance. He directed the officers to ensure that all services were being provided in accordance with government guidelines.
Dr Singh interacted with pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and other beneficiaries at the site. He sensitised them about the importance of timely immunisation, balanced diet and regular health check-ups. He motivated them to avail the services being provided under “Mamta Diwas”.
