Officials told to beautify main roads, entrance points to Ludhiana

Ludhiana, June 15

MC Commissioner Shena Aggarwal issued instructions to officials regarding the beautification of main roads, entrance points and parks in the city during a meeting with officials of different branches on Wednesday.

She asked the officials to take steps to beautify the main roads and entry points in the city. She asked them to prepare a time-bound report regarding those roads where patchwork to repair the potholes is yet to be done. She also instructed officials concerned about taking steps for the repair and beautification of city parks.

She asked the staff concerned to carry out plantation drive in the green belts and parks in Focal Point areas and also new areas in the city. Meanwhile, she instructed the officials to ensure the cleanliness of the solar panels that were installed in all four zones of the civic body.

She also directed the staff concerned to make sure that street lights are not switched on during the daytime.
