For the convenience of Covid patients, the police have started online consultation for those isolated at home.
Commissioner of Police (CP) Rakesh Agrawal told The Tribune that experienced doctors would interact with patients and answer their queries.
“Covid patients will be given online video consultation from 1 pm to 1.30 pm daily. Any Covid patient isolated at home can join the meeting. Police employees, their relatives and even general public from any district of Punjab can join this online consultation. The facility is free of cost and the identity of participants will be kept confidential,” said CP Agrawal.
He said Dr Rajesh Mahajan and Dr Bishav Mohan, Covid experts from DMCH, and other doctors from prominent hospitals would evaluate the patients online and answer their queries.
Patients should join the meeting by 12.45 pm for preliminary checking and briefing. The CP said the meeting would be held daily from Monday to Saturday.
“Earlier, we were conducting daily online meeting with police personnel found Covid positive. Now, we have extended the facility to all,” he said.
Anyone can join the meeting after downloading Webex meeting app from Google Play store and then click on the given link. Meeting ID is 572473328 and no password is required.
