Eleven policemen of the Ludhiana Commissionerate are currently corona positive and at isolation centres in various places. They contracted the virus while on duty. They are all healthy. The police are conducting online yoga and meditation sessions for them daily so that they can stay fit. Senior cops are also in touch with them to keep their morale high.

A police post shares, “We are launching special campaign, ‘Operation Safe Punjab’, against people not wearing masks, not maintaining physical distance at shops, in markets or residential areas or buses, violating number limits for gatherings, especially at restaurants and marriage palaces, more commuters than allowed on two and in four-wheelers and autos.”
