The Kya Baat Hai fame Punjabi singer, Hardy Sandhu, is all set to try his luck in Bollywood with a movie based on the 1983 World Cup. Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie will be released in April 2020. Sandhu is putting in sincere efforts to leave his mark in Bollywood through the big break.

Sandhu was in the city to promote and launch the new branch of his “Anytime Fitness Gym”, which he has opened with two of his friends, Manu Grover and Avadh Nagpal. He said he had no problem acting in Punjabi movies but had not come across a good script yet. Born and brought up in Patiala, Sandhu said it was his first interaction with the public and media in Ludhiana. “Earlier visits were quiet visits to the city,” he said. Sandhu has done almost 10 albums so far, most of which are hits among youngsters.

He said it was extremely important to be physically and mentally fit. Giving a message to the youth in Punjab, he said earlier Punjab was remembered as a fit and healthy state but now drugs had ruined the lives of many.

Meanwhile, “Anytime Fitness” has opened its second branch at Sector 32-A, Ludhiana. The gym is set to serve the health conscious residents of Ludhiana for 19 hours a day and seven days a week.
