Physio, rehab centre opened



Ludhiana: Kardon physio and rehab, an international chain of physiotherapy and rehabilitation centres, opened its Ludhiana centre on Thursday at Dil Hospital, Model Town Extension here. The centre was inaugurated by Bhagirath Meena, Joint Commissioner of Police. He saw the latest technologies being used to help people with neurological, orthopaedic and other painful conditions. He spoke on the need for implementing such physio and rehab technologies in treating several diseases. Guest of honour Arvinder Singh, Additional Commissioner, Income Tax, Ludhiana, spoke about the need for healthy life without medicines. Managing director Piyush Baliyan and general manager Karan K Chand said it was the first-of-its-kind international branded physio centre opened in the city that would provide free second opinion to everyone requiring their services. —TNS
