Principal honoured

Arya Rattan, Padam Shree Punam Suri, president of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, honoured a principal among Aided Schools of Punjab, Rajni Verma of Hindi Putri Pathshala Senior Secondary, Khanna, at Pune on April 20 for her glorious contributions to the field of education, sports and cultural activities.

DAV Public School, Pune, hosted this programme. Rare gems of society were honoured with a gold medal, a shawl and a commendation certificate. Director JP Shoor said he was proud of Rajni Verma's contributions.

The president, Dr Punam Suri, awakened the coming posterity through his sea of Vedic knowledge and oratory. He threw light on all important aspects of life. DAV Public School, Pune, made a mark with a heroic welcome to Punam Suri. A royal coronation ceremony was performed in an ethnic style.

Rajni Verma's contributions to the field of education, games and cultural activities were applauded by the organizers. She was also given a warm welcome by the school authorities on her arrival at the school.
