Punjab Agricultural University’s College of Community Science has inaugurated a new Centre for Alumni Relations named as ‘AlmaConnect’ to strengthen alumni engagement and institutional connection.

The facility was formally inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Dr Satbir Singh Gosal and he congratulated the faculty and staff of the college for creating this amenity and said that the establishment of ‘AlmaConnect’ marks a significant step towards fostering lifelong alumni relations and promoting meaningful collaboration between alumni and the university.

Dr Kiran Bains, dean, COCS, said, “AlmaConnect will serve as a bridge between past and present, enabling alumni to contribute their expertise, resources, and goodwill towards the growth of the institution. It is not just a centre, but a platform for shared memories and future collaborations.”

A former student, Ritu Sharma, remarked, “This initiative makes us feel truly connected to our alma mater again. AlmaConnect will give us a space to mentor students, share experiences, and remain part of the university’s journey even after graduation.”
