Punjabi singer Aman Sahota was attacked by four to five youths with sharp weapons in the Ambedkar Nagar area of ​​Ludhiana last night.

Aman was seriously injured in the attack. He was immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital, where doctors declared his condition critical and referred him to PGI Chandigarh late that night.

According to doctors, Aman's skull may have been fractured in two, and his eye may have been exposed. A CT scan will provide further clarity. The injured Aman is a resident of Himmat Nagar in the Dugri area and often performs in stage shows.

Aman's friend, Arsh Kumar, said that the singer had gone to Ambedkar Nagar for some work, where some youths surrounded him and attacked him with sharp weapons. The reason for the attack is not yet known. Friends who identified him found him in a blood-soaked condition at the hospital.

Police launched investigation into the case to identify the suspects. The singer performs stage shows and sings religious songs.
