An accident in Ludhiana's Sarabha Nagar has claimed the life of an 18-year-old student, Laksh, who was pursuing BBA from an educational institution in Chandigarh. The accused driver, Shiva Sachdeva, a gym trainer from Gurdev Nagar, was arrested by Police Division-5 for rash driving.

According to deceased's father Rohit Kumar, Laksh was riding his motorcycle with friend Saksham to Sarabha Nagar Market when Sachdeva's Wrangler Rubicon SUV hit them near Guru Nanak Public School. Laksh succumbed to his injuries at Deepak Hospital, Ludhiana.

The police have registered a case against Sachdeva under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
