Ludhiana, October 18
Ravi Dutt has been named captain of the Ludhiana baseball team for the 14th Senior Punjab State Baseball Championship for Men to be held on October 19 and 20 at Shahi Sports College of Physical Education, Samrala, in Ludhiana district.
Harbir Singh Gill, president, Ludhiana District Baseball Association, released the list players who would represent the district in the championship in which 16 teams will be vying for top honours.
The team was finalised today at the conclusion of a week-long coaching camp here at SCD Government College for Boys.
The players are Ravi Dutt (captain), Jatin, Vaninderjit Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Chamkaur Singh, Sachin, Ishwinder Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Ashutosh, Abhijeet, Sourab, Rajiv, Jatinder, Harbir Singh and Kiranjot.
Sukhdev Singh Aulakh and Harbir Singh Gill have been appointed coaches of the team. — OC
