Ludhiana: To make children familiar with the glory of the Republic Day, Montessori wing of Bal Bharati Public School celebrated the day in a novel manner. Many activities such as ‘Mapping States and Capital of India’, ‘My Tiranga Sandwich’, 'Shadow Play' and ‘Storm your Brain’ were conducted on the theme ‘Freedom in Mind and Faith in Yourself,’ to instil independence and confidence among children. A rhetoric activity was organised to empower Montessarians’ oratory skills and to acquaint them with the integrity and diversity of India. More than 100 students of Mont I and Mont II came forward to express their ideas on various topics like National symbols, personalities, monuments, festivals and social awareness.

Police DAV Public School

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated here with solemnity and grandeur by the LKG students of Police DAV Public School, Ludhiana. Tiny tots participated in flower making activity and made hangings out of paper plates with tri -colour to make the day remarkable. They were also familiarised with the significance of R-Day

Guys & Dolls Pre-School

Republic Day was celebrated here with solemnity and grandeur. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to uphold the honor and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is India. The school was decorated with flags and posters of freedom fighters. Kids were dressed in attires of Subhash Chandra Bose, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Bhagat Singh and Rani Laxmi Bhai. Tinny tots tapped their feet on ‘Mera rang de Basanti chola’, ‘Hum Honge kamyaab’ and ‘Vande Matram’. A PPT was shown to them. Children were told about the history of the day by the teachers. School director Ayush Sekhri congratulated the students on Republic Day celebrations. TNS
