Deputy Commissioner (DC) Varinder Kumar Sharma today interacted with residents through a Facebook live session on the official page of District Public Relations Office. During the session, he informed residents could check the status of vacant beds on official web link “https://ludhiana.nic.in/notice/covid-19-bed-status-in-ludhiana-district/”.

The list of other private hospitals offering Covid treatment would also be added to the web link, the DC added. He assured that a dedicated mobile app would also be launched shortly.

People would be able to apply for home isolation through a mobile app, which would be launched in next couple of days, the DC said. One would have to make video of a separate room in the house, after which government officials would visit premises as per the time slot fixed by the applicant, the DC added. If all facilities were available, officials would grant permission for home isolation, the DC said.

People would not have to visit hospital for applying for home isolation, the DC added. Once verification was complete, patients would have to visit hospital just for checkup by doctors to ensure that they were not serious, the DC added.

“Several private hospitals have also promised district administration to start Covid treatment. Residents should act responsibly, follow government directions, wear masks, maintain physical distance and hand hygiene,” the DC said. The DC residents not to panic and assist district administration in fighting Covid pandemic and break the chain.

Raj Hospital, Bhagwan Ram Charitable Hospital, Deepak Hospital, Gurdev Hospital, Life Line Hospital, Aims Bassi Hospital, Prolife Hospital, Shri Krishna Charitable Hospital, Shri Raghunath Hospital, Mediways, Global Heart Hospital, Orison Hospital, Arora Neuro Centre, Sobti Neuro Centre, Kulwant Heart, Chawla Hospital, UPSC Jain Charitable Hospital, Iqbal Nursing Home, Life Line Hospital opposite DMC Nursing Home, Mahal Multi Speciality Hospital, Grewal Hospital, Guru Nanak Charitable Hospital and Lord Mahavira Homeopathic Hospital.
