The students from across five states — Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh — logged in to participate in the webinar, organised by the Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib on ‘Role of Children and Youth in Making India Drug-Free’.

In a press note issued today, the Trust claimed that it is the highest global participation in a webinar, and has been noted in the ‘World Book of Records, UK’.

Psychiatrists and counsellors Dr Col Rajinder Singh (MD, DPM, psychiatry, director, Akal Drug De-Addiction Centres, Baru Sahib, and Sangrur), Dr NL Gupta (PhD, psychology), senior psychologist at the Akal Drug De Addiction Centre, Baru Sahib, were the key speakers.

They addressed the students and other youngsters and emphasised on hazards of drug-addiction and illegal trafficking.
