Ludhiana, November 23

Sehejpreet Kaur of the Aspire Academy, Amrinder Singh of Bal Bharti Public School and Raghav Bhanot of the Aspire Academy emerged winners in the sub-junior girls’, boys’ and cadet boys’ sections, respectively, in the Open Ludhiana District Table Tennis Tournament that concluded at Shastri Hall near Guru Nanak Stadium here today.

In the sub-junior category, Sehejpreet registered an easy win over Yana Jindal in the girl’s section while in the cadet boys’ group, Raghav emerged as winner.

In the cadet boys’ final, Raghav edged out Aarav in a nail-biting match.

In the final (girls’ section), Sehejpreet scored a win against Yana in three sets to lay her hands on the winners’ trophy. Sehejpreet came out triumphant 11-7, 11-8 and 11-9.

In the sub-junior boys’ final, Amrinder outnumbered Aarav Batta 11-7, 11-8 and 11-7 to annex the title.
