Seminar for teachers

Ludhiana: A one-day inservice training programme for teachers of Green Land Schools was held at Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar bypass, to keep the teachers abreast with the latest strategies to manage the 21st century classroom environment effectively. The workshop on the pertinent topic of class room management and life skills was conducted by Urmila Ghidiyal from Eupheus Learning who highlighted the solution for classes KG to XII. Almost 450 teachers from Green Land schools participated in the seminar.  At the outset, the teachers were also shown a video to help them ascertain the individual strength and weakness and the areas that could be improved upon. Martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadur

Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana observed the martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji with devotion and religious fervor. Remembering the Shaheedi Divas and the supreme sacrifices of Guru Ji for protecting the most fundamental of human rights, a special morning assembly was organised today. Teachers narrated the martyrdom details of Guru Ji to the students. Divine Shabad Gayan created an aura of spirituality and enchanted everybody.

Green Land Convent School 

A religious programme to honour the sacrifice of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur who is known as ‘Hind Di Chaadar’ was organised here. The principal Jyoti Sachdev Pujara, staff and the students paid obeisance to the guru on his martyrdom day. On this occasion a special morning assembly was organised on a spiritual note with the school prayer. The students were given an insight into the life of Guru Teg Bahadur, his teachings and philosophy. The ideology and sacrifice of the great guru was discussed by the teachers of the school. A PowerPoint presentation was shown to students as it covered a wide range of topics, such as the nature of guru, human attachments, body, mind, sorrow, dignity, service, death and deliverance.
