Session held on drug de-addiction

KHANNA: The District Legal Services Authority, Fatehgarh Sahib, organised an awareness programme on “Drug de-addiction, legal literacy and environment protection” today at Titans Hall at Om Parkash Bansal Modern School, Mandi Gobindgarh.

The District Legal Services Authority, Fatehgarh Sahib, organised an awareness programme on “Drug de-addiction, legal literacy and environment protection” today at Titans Hall at Om Parkash Bansal Modern School, Mandi Gobindgarh.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Gurpartap Singh graced the occasion and informed students and teachers about various aspects and benefits of legal literacy. Tirath Singh, a para legal volunteer of the District Legal Services Authority, Fatehgarh Sahib, also addressed students and told about various legal services provided by the department.

A street play on “Drug Addiction” was held on the occasion in which students of Aryabhatta House participated and sent a message to make India a drug-free country. Students of primary wing explained different ways to conserve and protect environment. The Legal Literacy Club was inaugurated by the chief guest.
