Show-cause notice issued to Ludhiana RTA

MOHALI: The CBI Court at Mohali today issued a show cause notice to Ludhiana Regional Transport Authority Lovejeet Kalsi for misbehaving with the official, who went to serve bailable warrants, issued by the court, to the officer in case of Bhola Drug case.

The CBI Court at Mohali today issued a show cause notice to Ludhiana Regional Transport Authority Lovejeet Kalsi for misbehaving with the official, who went to serve bailable warrants, issued by the court, to the officer in case of Bhola Drug case.

According to sources, the court has directed Kalsi to appear in person before the court today.

It is to be noted that Jagjit Singh Sarao, the public prosecutor of the Enforcement Directorate today placed on record the bailable warrants sent to the RTA, Ludhiana, along with the report submitted by Satish Raina, the serving official (enforcement officer). He stated that Kalsi misbehaved with the serving official when he went to serve the court documents to her office.

The sources added that the court had already summoned the official to present certain documents before the court but she did not appear so far.
