Ludhiana, May 17

While participating in a roadshow in support of AAP candidate for Ludhiana, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia envisioned the Delhi model for the city.

He appealed to the voters to support Dr Tejpal Singh Gill and also consider Delhi’s development. He spoke about the reforms in education and health system in Delhi.

During the campaign, Sisodia said they would support anyone except the BJP at the Centre. The Deputy CM said Bains brothers, without the support of AAP, could not succeed. He added that the Congress had misguided people of Punjab as Prime Minister Modi did at the Centre.

He said the Delhi government was the only one to have fulfilled its promises. Sisodia said SAD was anti-people.

Sisodia said Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah were the biggest threat to the country.

Notably, the roadshow started from Dana Mandi near Gill Road and passed through six constituencies before concluding at ATI Chowk. The roadshow passed through Gill Chowk, bus stand flyover, Bharat Nagar Chowk, Bhai Bala Chowk, Aarti Chowk, Ghumar Mandi, Fountain Chowk, Lakkar Bridge, Jalandhar Byepass, Sherpur Chowk, Giaspura and Daba.

Kejriwal’s concern

Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal, on his Ludhiana visit, this morning exchanged views on Ludhiana with candidate Dr Tejpal Singh Gill. Gill said they had a detailed discussion over various problems faced by Ludhiana residents.
