Soft skills introduced in curriculum

LUDHIANA: In addition to sharpening academic excellence of students, Higher Education Institutions will now focus on their soft skills.

In addition to sharpening academic excellence of students, Higher Education Institutions will now focus on their soft skills.

In the coming 2019-20 session, soft skills will be give due attention in curriculum. Topics such as communication skills, universal human values, professional skills and leadership management are included under soft skills.

The University Grants Commission has issued instructions to make students aware about the soft skill courses.
