LUDHIANA: A special convocation was held at Sarthak Educational Trust - Sarthak Kaushal Vikas Kendra to provide completion certificate after skill training by Sarthak to orthopedically handicapped, hearing impaired and visually-impaired candidates.

A special convocation was held at Sarthak Educational Trust - Sarthak Kaushal Vikas Kendra to provide completion certificate after skill training by Sarthak to orthopedically handicapped, hearing impaired and visually-impaired candidates.

A total of 75 students were awarded their certification at the convocation and are presently part of leading companies such as Vishal Mega Mart, Reliance, Best Price, Akal Springs, etc.

The chief honour of the convocation was Brij Goyal – retd banker and active member of Mahatma Gandhi Peace Mission. Goyal guided the passed out candidates about the procedure for seeking loans from banks for self employment. He assured of free help to all such candidates who want to be self employed.

He asked parents of all such specially-challenged children to make use of their skill for their livelihood.

Sarthak has trained more than 800 candidates and more than 500 have been successfully placed till date.
