Sports Dept marks Yoga Day

LUDHIANA: Around 300 players, besides coaches and administrative staff of the Punjab Sports Department and the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Training Centre, observed the fifth International Yoga Day here on Friday at the multipurpose indoor hall of Guru Nanak Stadium.

Around 300 players, besides coaches and administrative staff of the Punjab Sports Department and the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Training Centre, observed the fifth International Yoga Day here on Friday at the multipurpose indoor hall of Guru Nanak Stadium.

Similar sessions were held at the sub-centres of the sports department at Namdhari Badminton Academy, Bhaini Sahib, Mata Sahib Kaur Hockey Academy, Jarkhar village, AS Modern Senior Secondary School, Khanna, and Jalaldiwad, where a large number of players and coaches celebrated the International Yoga Day.
