Urges youth to shun drugs

She appealed to the youth and the public to stay away from drugs and motivate anyone who has fallen prey to the menace to seek treatment and counselling.

She said the fight against drugs was not just the responsibility of the police or any single department, but a shared responsibility of the society. “The young generation be saved from drugs only through the collective efforts of the police, Health Department, families, educational institutions and social organisations. They can also help in ensuring a healthy, safe and drug-free future,” the SSP added.
