Stage set for third edition of Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan

The stage is set for the third edition of Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan, to be organised by the Punjab Sports Department across the state from September 3 to 11. During the games, competitions in various sports disciplines across nine age groups at block-, district- and state-level, will be held.

Giving the information, District Sports Officer (DSO) Kuldeep Chugh said in the block-level competitions, players in the U-14, 17, 21, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70 and above 70 categories would be vying for the top positions in athletics, football, kabaddi (national), kabaddi (circle), kho-kho, volleyball (smashing) and volleyball (shooting) events at 14 blocks namely Khanna, Sidhwan Bet, Sudhar, Ludhiana-I, Malout, Jagraon, Machhiwara, Pakhowal, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana-II, Dehlon, Doraha, Raikot and Samrala.
