A farmer of the nearby Ranwan village was gored to death by a stray bull in the village last evening. The deceased has been identified as Jodh Singh (62).
Jodh Singh was going to the village gurdwara when a stray bull attacked him from behind. As he raised the alarm, the bull again attacked him. Soon, some villagers gathered there and scared the bull off with sticks.
A severely injured Jodh Singh was rushed to a private hospital at Khamano where he was declared brought dead. His brother Kashmira Singh said stray bulls had attacked many persons in the area but the authorities concerned had failed to take any action.
