The Suvidha Centres in all four zones of the MC will remain open on Saturday (June 27) for the collection of property tax and water supply & sewerage charges.

The Suvidha Centres in all four zones of the MC will remain open on Saturday (June 27) for the collection of property tax and water supply & sewerage charges. According to the government orders, the persons, who have not paid their property tax, can deposit their dues with 10% rebate before June 30. No interest or penalty will be levied on pending property tax if it is deposited within the given time.

The MC Superintendent, Vivek Verma, said no penalty or interest would be charged if water supply and sewerage charges were deposited before June 30.

In a press note, MC Commissioner Pardeep Kumar Sabharwal stated that the Suwidha Centres would remain open like normal working days. He appealed to the public to deposit their pending property tax, water supply and sewerage charges before June 30 to avail the benefit.

The visitors have been advised to wear masks, use sanitiser and ensure social distancing.
