The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training (PSBTE & IT) has started online registration for admission in various polytechnic colleges run by the Punjab Government Technical Education Department.
This was stated by the Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner (DC), Varinder Kumar Sharma. “Boys and girls, who have passed Class X and XII can register online for diploma courses by visiting website – www.gpcgldh.ac.in,” the DC added.
“The help desk numbers of the Government Polytechnic College for Girls, Rishi Nagar, and the Punjab State Board of Technical Education are 0161-2303223 and 98720-85786. Applicants can also visit website www.punjabteched.com for more information,” the DC said.
“The Punjab Government has also launched the Chief Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for deserving students in government polytechnic colleges. Students of all such colleges in the state are also availing the benefit of this scheme,” the DC added.
“Under this scheme, tuition fees of Punjab domicile boys and girls will be waived as per marks obtained in Class X. Besides, Class XII or ITI passed students can get direct admission in the second year through lateral entry,” the DC said.
According to the instructions of the Punjab Government Welfare Department, full fee is waived as per the income rules of SC students.
