With no solution to farmers’ agitation against the Farm Acts in sight, the railway authorities have announced cancellation of as many as 14 trains till October 18/19 while many more would be short-terminated (partially cancelled) till that time.

According to railway officials, 02425/26 New Delhi-Jammu Tawi-New Delhi Special Rajdhani Express, 22439/40 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Special Express, 02011/12 New Delhi-Kalka Shatabdi Express and 02029/30 New Delhi-Amritsar-New Delhi Swarn Shatabdi Express, 02053/54 Haridwar-Amritsar-Haridwar Janshatabdi Special Express and 02461/62 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Shri Shakti Express had been cancelled till October 19.

04651 Jaynagar-Amritsar Saryu Ganga Express will remain cancelled on October 18 while 04652 Amritsar-Jaynagar Saryu Ganga Express, which was to commence its journey today (October 16), has also been cancelled.

02903/04 Mumbai Central-Amritsar-Mumbai Central Golden Temple Mail (up to Oct 18); 02925/26 Bandra Terminus-Amritsar-Bandra Terminus Pashchim Express (up to Oct 19); 03307/08 Dhanbad-Firozepur-Dhanbad Ganga Sutlej Express (up to Oct 18); 04649/50 Jaynagar-Amritsar-Jaynagar Saryu Yamuna Express (on Oct 17); 04673/74 Jaynagar-Amritsar-Jaynagar Shaheed Express (on Oct 17 and 19); 02957/58 New Delhi-Una-New Delhi Himachal Express (up to Oct 19) and 02357/58 Kolkata-Amritsar-Kolkata Durgiana Express (up to Oct 19).

02715/16 Nanded-Amritsar-Naded Sachkhand Express (up to Oct 19) and 04651/52 Jaynagar-Amritsar-Jaynanagr Humsafar Express (on Oct 17 and 18).

04653/54 Newjalpiguri-Amritsar-Newjalpaiguri Humsafar Special Express (on Oct 17 and 19).
