Trials for junior wrestling teams to be held today

KHANNA: The trials for junior freestyle wrestling teams of Ludhiana will be organised at Sant Sardool Singh Memorial Akhara Malakpur tomorrow.

The trials for junior freestyle wrestling teams of Ludhiana will be organised at Sant Sardool Singh Memorial Akhara Malakpur tomorrow.

Stating about it, coach Mansa Singh and general secretary of District Wrestling Association said the trials would be held for boys and girls in different weight categories such as 57, 61,65,70,74,79,86, 92, 97 and 125 kg.

Mansa Singh said a relaxation of 2 kg will be given to all players in all categories and the weight will be checked from 9 to 10 in the morning.

He said the players should bring their Aadhar Card showing birth date and other documents for these trials.

Mansa Singh appealed to all coaches of different akharas to bring participants for these trials so that they may develop a spirit of sportsmanship and bring laurels to their respective districts after taking part in the event.
