The Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust hosted its annual cultural event ‘Ek Sham Sahir ke Naam’. The event, ‘Main toh Jadu hoon,’ was a tribute to legendary poet and lyricist Anand Bakshi, who is often hailed as the ‘king of poetry’. The evening resonated with his timeless songs, performed by acclaimed singers Supriya Joshi, Sarvesh Mishra, Sangeeta Melekar, Anand Bahal, Naveen Anand and Nimrata Sharma. Engaging conversations took place with Obaid Azam Azmi, Prithvi Haldea, Rakesh Anand Bakshi, and Nandita Kodesia.
On the occasion, the Noor-e-Sahir award for 2025 was conferred upon renowned Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore for her outstanding contributions to the arts.
