Ludhiana: The police have booked a tuition teacher for allegedly raping a minor student. The girl also accused the teacher of making her lewd videos. The victim’s father said his 14-year-old daughter is studying in Class IX. He alleged that her daughter shared the matter with her aunt that she was raped by the tuition teacher on October 1. He said her daughter had been upset for the past some time. The complainant alleged that the teacher had also threatened to upload her daughter’s videos on social media. According to the SHO of the Samrala police station, a case under Sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act has been registered against the teacher. The accused has been identified as Vicky. The police are yet to arrest the accused. TNS
