Two held with 520-gm heroin

Ludhiana: The STF wing of Ludhiana police arrested two persons and recovered 520-gram heroin from them. The accused Rahul Kumar (32) of Mohali and Amjid Khan of Malerkotla were coming from Samrala to deliver consignment to their clients on Chandigarh Road, when they were arrested. Rahul said he was a contractor of signboards and started this notorious trade two years ago to earn easy money. He said he used to bring narcotics from some Nigerian national staying in Delhi. Illicit Liquor seized 

Ludhiana: The police have arrested a liquor smuggler and recovered 18 cases of illicit liquor from him at a naka laid on New Subash Nagar. The accused has been identified as Jarnail Singh, alias Kaka, of Atar Nagar, Tibba Road. TNS
