Vet varsity official gets fellowship



Ludhiana, June 5

Dr Jasbir Singh Bedi, director, Centre for One Health, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), has been awarded with the fellowship the of Indian Association of Veterinary Public Health Specialist (IAVPHS) for his contribution in the field of veterinary public health and epidemiology.

Dr Bedi started his career as Assistant Professor at Punjab Agricultural University in 2004. He has been honoured with prestigious Commonwealth scholarship for MSc degree from the University of London and for PhD from University of Sussex, UK.

Dr Bedi has handled research projects funded by the Department of Biotechnology, the University Grants Commission, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Gates Foundation among others. — TNS
