Ludhiana, September 2

After over three weeks, the Dakha police station registered a case against a woman in an accident case in which a pedestrian was injured.

The accused has been identified as Kiran of Fazilka. Complainant Vikramjit Singh, a resident of Mullanpur, said he was standing outside Star Gym on Hambran Road on August 9 when a speeding Swift car coming from the

Mullanpur side rammed into him and fractured his left leg.

The car also hit six to seven motorcycle parked outside the gym and damaged the vehicles.

The complainant alleged that as talks of compromise with Kiran failed, a case has been registered against her at the Dakha police station.
