Ludhiana, August 19
The police have arrested a woman smuggler and recovered 640 gm of ganja from her.
The smuggler has been identified as Pooja, resident of EWS Colony.
Investigating officer ASI Sukhwinder Singh said secret information was received that the woman smuggler was sitting outside her rented accommodation to hand over the consignment of narcotics to her clients.
A police party conducted a raid and nabbed the woman with narcotics.
The ASI said police remand of the accused woman would be sought from the court to bust the drug supply chain.
