Held under the directions of the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the event was flagged off from the SAI Training Centre. The cyclists rode through key city landmarks including Fountain Chowk and Iqbal nursing home before returning to the starting point, completing a distance of 3 km.

The Assistant Director, STC, Ludhiana said the event was organised with the objective of combating obesity, spreading awareness about physical fitness and motivating people to adopt an active lifestyle. It echoed the national fitness theme, “Fitness Ki Dose, Adha Ghanta Roz,” encouraging individuals to dedicate at least 30 minutes daily to physical activity.
