Mandi Ahmedgarh, March 15

Teams deployed on election duty in Ahmedgarh sub-division vowed to adopt and maintain positive attitude during the 2019 Lok Sabha polls voting process.

The oath was taken today in response to the call made by Ahmedgarh SDM Vikramjeet Singh Panthey and SP Palwinder Singh Cheema.

Addressing members of flying squad teams (FST), statistical surveillance teams (SST), sector officers and block level officers, Panthey and Cheema called upon the officials to perform their duty with extra diligence and retain positive attitude.

“Now, when we have been entrusted different responsibilities for electing new government, we must give top priority to our duty,” said Panthey.

Panthey and Cheema said role of the FSTs and SSTs was crucial as they would have to work round the clock. All concerned were advised to take proactive measures to handle complaints on Helpline No. 1950 and through C-vigil App.

Panthey advised the officials that they should not lose cool while interacting with complainants. He said outstanding performers would be felicitated and strict action would be taken against offenders.
