Workshop held on entrepreneurship

A workshop on entrepreneurship development programme –“Illuminate” was organised at the Kamla Lohtia SD College, Ludhiana, by the entrepreneurship development cell (EDC) of the college in association with the E-Cell of the IIT, Mumbai.

Puneet Raman, who is a guest faculty with the IIT, Mumbai, and director of Prowisdom Growth Private Limited was the resource person.

The objective of the workshop was to train students about entrepreneurship, including formation of business plans, value propositions, channels, customer segments and presentation of ideas. On the spot tasks were assigned to students who in turn prepared their respective models and discussed the intervening issues with Raman.

Besides, the IIT, Mumbai, NEC basic track leaderboard-I ranked the college at third place out of 500 colleges in India. Principal Dr Bimlesh Kumar Gupta said these kinds of workshops provide practical oppournities to students.
