A 23-year-old native of Bihar was found brutally murdered at DLF phase 3 in the morning today. The deceased operated a franchise of online shopping site Myntra and his office was located in the basement of a house in U block of DLF phase 3 from where his body was found by the police today.

An FIR against unidentified persons has been registered at DLF phase 3 police station, but the police have no clue so far.

The police claim it appears to be the result of personal enmity using robbery as a cover as Rs 50,000 was found missing from his office. CCTV footage shows a suspicious biker who is being considered prime accused.

According to the police, the victim has been identified as Ravi Kumar, a native of Bihar. He lived in a rented accommodation in Palam Vihar and operated the franchise office of online shopping site Myntra from the basement of a house in U block of DLF phase 3.

He left for office from home at around 6.30 am as per his routine. The unidentified accused attacked him between 7 am and 7.30 am, killed him after hitting him on the head with some object, gagged him and fled away.

At 7.45 am, a delivery boy reached his office to take the parcels of customers and found him lying on a chair in a pool of blood. Then, the police were called.

A police team reached the spot and took the body into custody. On the complaint of Dipesh, a relative of the victim, an FIR has been registered under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC at DLF phase 3 police station against the unidentified assailant.

The police found that most CCTV cameras installed nearby were not functional. In a CCTV footage, a biker was seen coming towards his office. His laptop was on the table and Rs 50,000 were missing.
