Ludhiana, March 3
The Khamano police claimed to have arrested a person under the Gambling Act and recovered Rs 800 from his possession. The accused has been identified as Ram Singh, a resident of Bhamajra village.
As per information, a police party of the Khamano police led by ASI Manjit Singh was on patrolling in the area. They got an information about a person who was calling people for Satta at a shop at Barwali Pul. The police party raided the suspected spot and arrested the accused red-handed with Rs 800.
Khamano SHO Raj Kumar confirmed the incident and said they had registered a case against the accused.
