Moti Ram Arya, Chandigarh

Two NCC Cadets — Arshita and Harshita — of Moti Ram Arya Model School, Sector 27-A, Chandigarh, were selected for the Republic Day camp. The cadets were selected as part of the dance troupe. They were part of the 30-cadet troupe which performed at the PM House cultural event. The cadets were part of the Punjab, Haryana, HP and Chandigarh Directorate.

THE GURUKUL, PANCHKULA

The Gurukul, Panchkula, organised a dental check-up camp for its primary students. A team of dental experts visited the school and examined the students. They were inspired to follow correct oral hygiene practices and maintain good dental health. They were given a dental kit.

Shishu Niketan, Chandigarh

Students of Class XI from Shishu Niketan Model School, Chandigarh, bade adieu to the outgoing students from Class XII on the school premises. The programme included scintillating dances and song performances. School magazine, ‘Shishu Bharti’, was also released.

Shishu Niketan, Panchkula

Shishu Niketan Public School, Sector 5, Panchkula, organised a farewell party for Class X students. Pupils of the host class performed dances on various songs. Students of Class X participated in a ramp walk to compete for titles. Anika and Anupam Rawat bagged the ‘student of the year’ title . Arnav Singh and Prabhat Ghosh were felicitated with ‘performer of the day’ title.

A farewell party was organised at the school auditorium. Harsh and Diya were adjudged Mr JPS and Mrs JP, respectively.

AKSIPS-125, Kharar

An assembly was conducted on the theme of ‘safety rules’ at AKSIPS-125 Smart School by students of kindergarten. Students gave a presentation on safety rules to be followed on roads.

Blue Bird High, Panchkula

The nursery wing of Blue Bird School celebrated its annual function on ‘Vansantosav’ as the theme. The little ones captivated the audiences with their scintillating performances. The programme commenced with lighting of a lamp by the chief guest. tns
